It is live that needs to catch up to psn and steam. 2 words dedicated servers. Cross game chat and invites are needless features. Everyone has a phone. I don't need to talk to someone that isn't playing the same game as me and if I do I just say their name and my phone dials them all while I am still playing. Keep those perks I'll take the dedicated servers and not worry about getting in a game with someone whose is still using a light cable/dsl service.

NPD only includes 5 days that MAG was on sale. There are a lot of brits on MAG and if you saw the charts last week MAG was in the top 5 for sales.
Something is wrong with his numbers. He says 1/2 million sold and 270 000 games played. That means out of every 2 people with the game only 1 has played a game in the shadow war. I took about half an hour to get enough points to start SABO. I would expect the number of games to be around 27 million about 50 per person or 3 games a day per person.
Actually the PS3 has more shooters than the 360, definitely more fps. The PS3 has more of all game types. The only thing the 360 has more of is crap.
What are you talking about? What did the 360 have last year? Forza 3 and Halo: ODST. Consider the multiplats and you have 6 games all year. No wonder the sales for certain games are so huge.

Too bad the 360 doesn't have any games. 1 good semi-exclusive game (ME2) in 14 months and you think the PS3 has mediocre games. In that same 14 months the ps3 had Killzone 2 (91), Uncharted 2 (96), Demon's Souls (89), Heavy Rain (89), God of War collection (91) and MLB 09 the show (90). The next exclusive game the 360 gets is 2 months away and in that time the PS3 will be getting God of War 3, MLB 10 the Show and Yakuza 3.
Why not wait until GOW3 comes out to compare Bayonetta to. The latter is for fa_gs anyway, oh look at me I am Sarah Palin my hair is a weapon. Kratos would rip that b!tches head off. Not that it matters though PS3 owners can play both games.
When you have a couple data points that stick out like sore thumbs they are known as outliers. Usually they are discarded, metacritic doesn't do that though. It would be a good thing then sites that review low to get hits wouldn't show up and then the aggregate score would be more accurate.

1 thing is for sure, Natal wont have the number of games the wand will. Look at the number of sony developers. Then consider that porting the wii games to the ps3 will be easier since the wiimote and wand are very similar input devices. All the third party support for Natal will probably also go to the PS3 device since all wands will use a camera so people with the wand can play the same games using only the camera.
I disagree anytime they have a monopoly on something they jack the prices up as you listed HDD and Wifi but their battery packs are priced in the same range as other rechargable batteries (duracell etc).

Prototype was absolute garbage. I rented it and returned it to blockbuster and got an exchange that same day. I highly doubt you played both games if that is your opinion.
Most of the people hating on L4D2 were valve fanboys that felt valve was releasing what should have been DLC as a full game. If you know of valve's support for other franchises then you would probably agree that part 2 should have been DLC. What was the difference between the two games? 4 new characters, a few new zombies, Melee weapons and 5 new levels.
Seems like psn has a steady stream of open betas. How did you like that BFBC2 beta? Oh yeah that's right only on PC/PS3. Then there was Resistance, killzone, Mag, Uncharted 2 and Socom. But hey you'll finally get one in may when the Halo Reach Around beta comes out.
